Cosmos Medical Management is a HIPAA compliant medical billing, credentialing, and coding company.  Congress signed into law the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA) on August 21, 1996.  The purpose of HIPAA is to develop and adopt national standards and requirements that would address the privacy and security of Personal Health Information (PHI).

PHI includes a wide variety of identifiers and different information recorded throughout the course of routine treatment and billing.We collect and use personal information solely with the objective of fulfilling the specified purpose of billing, coding, and credentialing. This information is disclosed to no one except our clients who are authorized to receive this information and employees who are working on the client’s account.

We are committed to conducting our business in accordance with these principles to ensure that the confidentiality of personal information is protected and maintained.
